WILDER
FAT BIKE
The Bice Bicycles Wilder is a custom-made steel fat bike frame designed to push you to go exploring, be it in fresh snow, deep snow, sand, frozen terrain, or wet mud.
For those who want to get out of the house no matter what the weather is and get lost in the wild, the Bice Bicycles Wilder is your trustworthy travel companion. One of the great advantages of a Wilder Fat Bike is the possibility of mounting a wide range of tires from 3” to 5” ensuring that you have the right set-up for your adventure.
The Wilder Fat Bike is equipped with rocking dropouts which provide a variety of technical advantages. The first advantage is seen in the frame design, where rocking dropouts allow the possibility of varying the geometry of the rear triangle and consequently the reactivity of the frame. Another advantage is that it allows you to mount a wide range of tires, as previously mentioned. Last but certainly not least, if you find yourself in a remote area with rear derailleur issues, a quick repositioning will let you run a single gear and ensure you’ll be able to ride home without the derailleur.
The Wilder frame can be outfitted with bikepacking bags and is designed to equally distribute weight which, for example, will make sure that extra salami you packed in your saddle bag won’t have you involuntarily popping wheelies as you climb.
Each Wilder frame is custom-made based on your biomechanics, intended use, and fork choice. The frame can be outfitted with either a rigid or suspended fork, the choice is yours. Included in the price of the frame is a Chris King Inset7 headset.
