- 29er Hardcore Hardtail Trail Bike (say hardtail trail 3 times fast)
- The evolution of an old school front suspended mtb
- Good balance between agility and stability
- Perfect for marathon rides Tire clearance up to 2.4”
- Lighter than the average industry frame
This hardcore hardtail steel mountain bike frame has great stability, maneuverability and ensures that you feel in control of your bike as you defy gravity. With a higher bottom bracket shell, you don’t have to worry about aggressive cornering, allowing you to pedal throughout your entire race.
Mounting 29er wheels with a tire clearance of 2.4” creates a smooth, rock-steady vibe. The extra volume and increased contact patch of a 2.4” tire really help on those gnarly rooty or rocky paths and the 29er wheels give you great traction and control on climbs and corners authorizing you to charge right over anything and everything without issue.
Choose your own travel (adventure). As each frame is custom-made based on your biomechanics, intended use and the type of suspension fork you would like to mount, I can design the Petricore for 120mm, 140mm forks, or 130mm lefty max forks.
Included with the price of each frame is a Chris King Inset7 headset.
