- 3-in-1 tire choice: 29er, 29er plus, 27.5” plus
- An all-round reliable bike
- Single-Speed Ready
- From fun to comfortable rides in one frame
- Lighter than the average industry frame
“Lestofante” in Italian means trickster, and the frame is just that. It can handle 29er plus tires or 650b plus tires without batting an eyelash. Thanks to the sliding dropouts, the length of the chainstay can be increased by up to 25mm providing the space required to mount 29er plus tires. At the same time, this lengthening of the chainstay lowers the drop of the bottom bracket shell, ensuring that the height of the bb shell from the ground remains unchanged despite the difference in tire size.
Why mount plus tires? If your in search of high-grip tires in any type of riding conditions, plus tires are the best solution. They have a huge contact surface with all types of terrain and incredible grip on snow and ice!
Do you have to have long chainstays to mount plus tires? Not at all! 435mm for 650b plus and 450mm for 29er plus tires. This means reactive cornering and lots of comfort at the same time!
Set-up in the 29er plus version, the Lestofante is a great divide companion for someone looking to take it easy, stop and have a beer here and there without worrying about what kind of time you’re making.
Each Lestofante frame is custom-made to measure based on your biomechanics, intended use, and desired riding position. The frame can be outfitted with bags for long-distance trips, and the standard model design comes with two sets of bottle cage bosses. The overall design of the Lestofante can be tweaked depending on the fork you would like to mount, guaranteeing the best set-up. Please let me know if you would like to mount a rigid, a suspended, or a lefty fork.
Included in the price of the frame is a Chris King Inset7 headset.
