Chinotto Racing Enduro Hardtail

Let’s have a drink and then get down with this racing enduro hardtail frame!

Chinotto [kiˈnɔtto] is a type of carbonated soft drink produced the myrtle-leaved orange tree (Citrus myrtifolia). The beverage is dark in color. Its appearance is similar to that of cola, but it is not as sweet as cola, having a bittersweet taste.

The perfume of the Chinotto flower transports you to the lush mediterranean landscapes of Finale Ligure, an enduro and downhill rider’s dream with killer trails surrounded by breathtaking views.

And, like that mediterranean landscape, the Chinotto never compromises: a hardcore hardtail frame that keeps it’s head down and focuses is on jumping rocks and going with the flow without ever having you worry about comfort. This frame is not for newbies or those who are looking for the comfort of a steel frame.

This frame is steel for one reason: it’s bombproof!

The frame was developed for enduro racing with a compact rear triangle and a slack front end. The tubing was selected in order to offer a superior level of rigidity and sturdiness when compared to the majority of frames on the market today. The frame is also between 700-1000 grams lighter than the average frame. An even slacker head angle than the Endurello model with a very compact rear triangle make the Chinotto model a descending machine. Drop that saddle all the way down! To be able to use a fork with increased travel and eliminate any worry about what you’re riding over, the bottom bracket has been raised even further.

The bicycle is designed with a 67° steerer angle for a mtb suspension fork of a minimum 140mm. Chainstay length is 417mm for a maximum tyre width of 2,2 “. There is the option of mounting 2.35” tyres with 420mm chainstays (for instance: 2.3” Specialized Purgatory on flow mk3 rim).

What are the benefits of a Steel Enduro Frame?

A steel enduro bike frame gets you up those climbs quickly, something which only a front suspended bicycle can do without loosing too much energy. And then you go down the other side the oldschool way; putting your weight into the rear triangle, balancing with your feet, coordinating with your arms and back to follow the flow of the trail. You ride your bike.
